Executive Summary: After receiving her MBBS degree from Meerut Medical College in India and after completing her residency in Internal Medicine from New York Medical College in Valhalla, Dr. Sangeeta Aggarwal completed her fellowship in Hematology-Oncology from Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York. During 2001- 2002, she was an attending physician in the division of Hematology/BMT at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, and during 2002-2005, she was an Assistant Professor in the department of Oncology/BMT at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Hospital & Medical Center in New York. During these five years, she was actively involved in clinical research as well as teaching fellows and in bone marrow transplants for hematological malignancies. Since October 2005, Dr. Aggarwal has been Assistant Chief in the division of Hematology and Oncology at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose. During the last thirteen years, she has been specifically interested in breast cancer and has also been involved in clinical studies as well as mentoring residents.

She is board certified in both Hematology and Oncology and is also a member of ASCO, ASH, AMA, and AAPI.
