Dr. Ellrott is an assistant professor at Oregon Health and Science University. He specializes in data science analysis of cancer genomics and has worked projects such as the TCGA Pancancer Atlas, the MC3 10K genome somatic variant calling effort, and the DREAM RNA calling challenge. He currently works on projects for the Nation Cancer Institute (NCI) and the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI), including efforts in cloud based analysis platforms, presiion medicine, machine learning and cancer early detection.
