He is the President, Asian Society of Mastology and Chairman/Editor-in-chief, Indian Journal of Surgery. He is also a Joint Editor, Indian Journal of Surgical Oncology. He is a Consultant and Professor, VMMC, Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi. He has been a Governing Council Member, Association of Surgeons of India from 2009 to 2015. He was the President, Association of Surgeons of India and the President, Association of Breast Surgeons of India. He was also a Hon. Secretary, the Association of Surgeons of India.

He has been a examiner MRCS for the Intercollegiate MRCS Examination of “The Royal College Of Surgeons Of Edinburgh” UK. He has International Tumor Board membership. He is a member of Tumor Board “WFSOS” World Federation of Surgical Oncology. His fields of Interest are academics in surgery, Surgical Oncology [Head and Neck, Breast, Soft Tissues and Endocrine]. He is a peer reviewer for International journals like BMC Cancer, International Seminars in Surgical Oncology, World Journal Of Surgical Oncology, “Chemotherapy”, BMC Surgery, Indian Journal Of Surgery, Journal Of International Medical Sciences Academy. He has more than 120 national and international publications.
